The City of Sydney is committed to making our city truly inclusive and welcoming. Our fifth inclusion (disability) action plan sets out how we’re working to remove barriers to inclusive participation, protecting the rights of people with disability and promoting the value of diversity and inclusion. It includes collaborating with businesses and disability-led organisations to build their capacity to be more inclusive and accessible. With one in 6 Australians living with disability, providing good access is simply good for business – it creates opportunities to reach a greater diversity of customers, generates up to twice the selling power and enriches the customer experience. The City of Sydney is proud to join the Zero Barriers movement, in supporting local businesses to become more inclusive and accessible, creating a better future for everyone.
